When my doctors ask for my pain level, I always say “mine or other people’s?”. Mine? 6. Other people? 9. We get “used to it”, sort of. Maybe we just accept it and soldier on.

Great response. I have become really tired of filling out all the dopey charts adisgrams showing where my pain is and how intense it is. What is a 7? How do I put a number on my pain? It’s just bad!
