I'm glad you asked this question, as it seems like my BMs are very different from pre-surgery. I have assumed it is because I am drinking less fluids to deal with my incontinence, but I will try some of these things others suggested too.

My personal opinion is that the placement/ insertion of the robotic arms affects us all differently.
My Gastro had done 4 colonoscopies prior to surgery. After complaining about inability to have normal BM’s he did another; he said my intestine now seemed “very tortuous”… in other words, extra loops or twists - that has to affect something I would imagine.
Who knows how all the fascia heals after it’s over?
