I dont know whats causing them You have to see what the tenents say about a place for sure I lucked out with my place they went through a total remodeling got rid of carpets people where getting sick from them as they harbor bacteria and such put me in another unit while they gutted and did over my place ,new kitchen appliances new bathroom the one thing we have is inspections for roaches @bedbugs they are common here ,close to ocean dont know if thats why or not .Hope your feeling well
