I also had steroid injections, every 3 months, for several years. They worked great until they didn’t! The past two series of injections gave little relief. Am now slated for reverse shoulder replacement.

I had that one steroid shot given in my hip by my dermatologist to help a case of hives. It just happened to work miracles on my shoulder. That was about a year and a half ago. I did about 6 months of PT, and I have now have full use of that shoulder. An unusual case for sure.
