My understanding is the Covid spike protein damages endothelial cells that line your body. This can affect heart, lung, blood vessels and kidneys, etc.

Thanks so much for the links. Those help to answer some questions. Hypertension was an unlikely chronic kidney disease (CKD) cause due to my BP avg of 120/70 and being an athlete (less aerobic post LC but resistance is good). I have elevated HDL but not LDL (so much for friendlier cholesterol). The CKD happened at the end of ~8 mo of LC. Covid likely damaged the hair follicles on my arms and legs, but not elsewhere (had this happened as a teenager it would have saved decades of shaving). There was no permanent damage to my CV system, or the tubes in my kidneys, but my glioma are at ~50%. BP spikes during covid shouldn't have been enough for the damage, but it would be nice if there was more research on this. I suspect the covid research is being gutted as well.
