Was your physical therapy any different?
I wonder if the aggressive therapy that I received contributed to the scarring? A body needs to heal. I don't know.

Pushing, pulling by 2 PTs until a patient cries out.... never achieving the numbers needed...

Finally the MUA helped. A year out now and I still give the knee a "C+" as its a problem going down stairs, still tight when I awaken and I have to "lube" it up with daily exercises before I start my day. PIA. Not what I expected I guess.

Patrice, as to PT aggressiveness, my Home Health guy worked me pretty hard after Revision and I used the passive motion machine twice, result was 80 flex. Then went into PT and it was less aggressive, mostly stretching leg and manipulating knee cap. He did get me from 43 start after MUA to 73 at the end. I was 50 sessions and they said I had used up my Medicare allotment. So looks like agressive PT for you and less for me, we ended up with same disappointing problem. My sister just did TKR and did beautifully, 112 initially. She did work hard prior to sugrey with swimning etc. which may be key. Will see how she progresses with PT. Yes, stairs, tight knee cap w/some pain and walking limp. Still walking, playing 9 holes golf but is not enjoyable as if had good flex, even 90-95.
