beverly48, my prayers go out to you. If you're having treatment at Duke, that is probably one of the best medical facility in the country. Not to get back on COVID but l was talking to a retired doctor about my situation and others. His statement to me was COVID can do some serious damage to our bodies because the virus was man made the medical field does not have much information to go on. Doctor's can only treat you symptoms but don't know what is causing it. People can disagree with my opinion but l have not felt the same since having COVID in January 2025. I wish you well.
Take care

COVID was both a life changing and physical changing event for me. I am certainly not the person I was before my COVID infection. However, I do feel blessed to still be alive. At the time of my hospitalization, when I was aware of my condition, I questioned whether I would live through it. The thoughts of my Family and especially, seeing the great grandsons grow up kept me striving to hang in there so I could watch them grow at least to enter grade school.
