I hope that you have found the right place to get the support you desperately need, it truly is an outrage how benzodiazepine users are being treated, myself included, I sometimes feel like as though I’ve broken the law.. t

You are absolutely right....People can die from withdrawal, primarily seizures non-stop. I have been on Xanax for some time, at a low dose, .5 mg for panic episodes and assistance in sleep. I'm afraid the FDA have the physicians so apprehensive about prescribing any Scheduled Drugs none of them will do it and/or send you to a psychiatrist and/or pain management physician. All of which is detrimental to the patients. Quite frankly, there are bigger issues than worrying about little old people taking benzodiazapines. It literally takes months to wean patients off and they are so miserable !

I CARE
I was put on Clonazapam many years ago when they said they were not dangerous. I was in 4 mg but have weaned myself off to 1.75 to 2 mg a day. If someone took me off cold turkey I think I would die. I am 78 years old. It keeps me comfortable.
