My radiation oncologist says we can't do radiation again so soon or it will result in liver damage. Have to wait at least 6 months. In the meantime I am switching to Naliri chemo, and investigating getting into an RMC-6236 trial. Also investigating histotripsy.

Ok. I’m supposed to be getting SBRT radiation this week. My last treatment was in October. I’m also looking at histotripsy and meeting with a dr about it. I like the fact that if you get a lesion or tumor in nearly the same area that you can zap it again with histotripsy. I see pulmonologist today to see if I’m a candidate for Naliri. I switched oncologists and am back with my Hoag oncologist who has a patient who developed interstitial lung disease due to Naliri. She said it’s not discussed much amongst the medical community, but it can happen if you have a history anyways of interstitial lung disease (ILD) which I somehow developed a few years ago. I’ll post more about histotripsy after visiting the dr who does this procedure.
