Dear DfB
A Question, like you, I had & still have severe allergic effects from taking Anti-Depressants. Risperidone, Quietiapine, Effexor. None did what they were supposed to do and I was Hospitalized due to adverse drug reaction issues. I am Autistic ("hi-performing"). After a 3 yr Physician monitored titration off of Effexor, I am still getting legacy side effects (swollen face & rashes). You say you rebounded & recovered quickly. Clearly AD's can have a poisoness effect on the Body & central nervous system with very drug sensitive people. Now 2 yrs post finishing titration. But still getting legacy allergic effects. Do you still have any legacy adverse effects and how long did your Dr's say they will last? I have read an average of 4 yrs , after stopping taking AD Pills, can go on before you are clear of the drug effects.

When I stopped taking my antidepressant combo, it was my 4th time taking it. Even though I told my psychiatrist that it was ineffective when I retried it the 2nd time. I think the psychiatrists had me trying and retrying them because they didn't know what else to put me on. I have no residual effects. I went off because my psychiatrist dropped me and the meds were completely not working. There was no change from taking them to not taking them.
