Great question--and enjoying the answers. As a professional writer, I've published numerous books. This new one is dear to me because I brought together many of my poems that had appeared in magazines but not in full collections. So the writing is kind of quirky and informal. Title: "What Solitude Sees In Me." The oldest poem in the book was written when I was 21--and hospitalized with an illness that would change my life's course. Pub date is mid-June. Publisher is Casa Urraca in my home state of New Mexico. I never know if writing helps my readers directly, but it is how I've always lived and I love it.
