I know I'm a little late joining this discussion, but I didn't see anyone refer to a cystogram test prior to removing the catheter. The test involves them pumping you FULL of some traceable liquid, then scanning for leakage around the bladder. I had expected removal at the end of my first week after RALP but failed the cystogram 3 weeks running. after one month I passed and the cath came out. No complications from this but not a comfortable month.

I read about cystograms and asked if they were going to do any testing and the answer was no. All I can do now is hope that I don’t have issues. Thanks!

That's a new one.
The only test I had was remove the catheter & see if I pee like a horse.
