The second part of my CT scan with contrast just popped. Neither that nor the bone scan showed any cancer activity. They both lit up a bit around where I had my lesion at T3, but the assumption is that it's irritation from the surgery, hardware, and cement, not a recurrence. We'll probably monitor it a bit more closely in the future just to be safe.

So, good news as I approach my 4-year cancer-versary. It's been a long journey from (as I took it) "prepare to die in a few years" when I was first diagnosed in 2021 to "deep remission indefinitely" in 2025. I just want to mention that to anyone else here getting a de-novo stage-4 prostate cancer diagnosis, because it's easy to go to a dark place quickly when you first find out you have "incurable" cancer.
