Anyone tried using red light therapy?
There seems to be some evidence that photobiomodulation - heating the skin via infra red light - has some benefits for stimulating nerve re growth. There are lots of devices available on Amazon as well as lots of seemingly expensive treatments provided by chiropractors.
I would be interested to know of any personal experience with such devices and any possible recommendations.

WOW! My chiropractor did not give me a 'shop around' approach. They just sold me the whole program but it was VERY EXPENSIVE! The nurse in the office went over the program with me, sent me home with the stuff and I been following it.
My chiropractor did not suggest i buy one. He would have been quite happy, if i kept going in for office visits. I've been aware of tens, ultrasound Microcurrent for many yrs., So i just go on line, ask google my questions.......don't believe all the answers, but i search until i find one/some/ that sounds correct. the chiropractor did use the tens on me, followed by the ultrasound wand. I do like the ultrasound better, in my case. the bottom of my feet are not quite as stiff, but, i've only use the ultrasound on them 3 times. Are only supposed to use it maybe 3 times a week, not more, or so one website says. I like to go with caution, so i am using it aprx every 3 days, so far. the other days, i am using Red Light Therapy on my legs. and, my essential oil book, said to use several choices, but i am , on my feet, applying aprx 2 drops of a carrier oil, like grapeseed oil, with aprx 3 drops of cypress and aprx 2 drops of peppermint. I rub the bottom and around the ankle........then i do the same with the other foot. i've only done that twice so far.......I'll keep experimenting until, hopefully, i find a combination that works. Back in the Bible days, Oils were more precious then gold............I'll be happy, if they bring my feet back to normal..........:)
I have been using a foot and ankle red light device by Healthlight for 6 years. It has taken away my foot pain and the numbness has not increased. It is made in the US and is medical grade. Check it out on their website.
I just found out about the Rebuilder device . Looks like it will work better than my ultrasound wand for my still feet, and weak legs. How long have you had your device? Do you think it is helping very much?
I started going mid March, started the drink mix a couple weeks later. Started off with the Rebuilder device and the light therapy right away when I got it. I must say my feet do feel much better, I believe I had approximately 20% +/- in each foot. My feet were hurting and calves cramping but that has really subsided for me. I just realized I should have been also taking the Vasoproplus with the Sealpro so I just started the Vasoproplus this week. When he checked me a week or so ago, the percentage of neuropathy has decreased also. I am 70 and it is a lot of work I admit and lot of money but I feel better. I like being able to do the Rebuilder and the light therapy at home I do it in morning and eve at my convenience and dont have to travel. I been watching reviews on this and all I saw at first were doctors in St Louis MO that did it until I received a card in the mail for this on my side of the river so I tried it. My friend says its not legit because she has a friend who is also going and her neuropathy got better but now her arthritis is so bad shes walking with a cane and sometimes wheelchair but everyone is different and she is also older then me. I am thankful its helping me, I do understand not everyone is thee same and after reading the posts on Mayo site I see there are a lot of pro and con attitudes, I guess it just depends on where your at on the scale at the time and if its for you or not. Feel free to reach out anytime
I have not had any problems yet with it getting too hot, hope I dont, for me right n ow it is doing fine.
Can you say how much it cost? I heard $20K
Hello, crissma, I do not have knowledge about the Rebuilder program, but I can say that red light/NIR (near-infrared) light devices have been very effective for me in pain relief from a meniscus tear. I am only now starting to use my devices for neuropathy in feet/ankles/legs and will have to report back in awhile. But here was a surprise. I decided to start with a cheap unit just to test out red light therapy (also known as "photobiomodulation") for my knee pain, so I ordered a $68 belt by DGYAO company (that you wrap around the knee, directly on the skin) from Walmart online. To my shock and happiness, after about 2-3 days of doing 20 min. a few times a day, I was pain-free, and I maintained it. Later I bought a $1400 red light panel from Platinum co., and it has not had the same results for me (tho they also list many wonderful testimonials for all kinds of uses). I am now going to try the cheap little belt on my feet & ankles for the neuropathy. I tell this story just to say that it's not always the $20,000 treatments that do the most good. I'll report back in a couple of weeks of using the belt for neuropathy. Best of health to you!
Mine came from the chiropractor with the drink mixes, rebuilder all for $5000 I live in Southern Illinois, Dr Weber
I’ve been using red light therapy on my feet and lower legs. My feet have been ice cold for a while with no change doubling up on socks and house shoes. After a few days, I’ve used the red light for twice a day. My feet were warmer. I stopped using it for a few days and the coldness came back. I started using it again and my feet are warm. I hope eventually it take care of the nerve sensations. It’s a red light pad that I wrap around my feet.
