This is a problem some people have if they’ve only taking 5 mg of prednisone. 10 mg of prednisone is one of the standard dosages. Some people get a lot of fatigue if they don’t have that much prednisone.

I found out about this because of other events, but a couple of months ago a doctor was at one of the conferences and was talking about his problem with fatigue while on Abbie. He said he increased his prednisone from 5 mg to 7.5 and it helped a lot. Unfortunately, for him, it also brought on pre-diabetes so he had to drop down.

I’m working with a guy who had such bad fatigue that he would wake up in the morning and then have to go back to sleep for three hours. I told him about the prednisone, He asked his doctor and his doctor allowed him to go up to 10 mg. It’s not a complete solution for him, but it made a major difference.

Thank you so much! We will make sure we speak to the oncologist when we see her next month!
