The pain and numbness is in the same area of my thigh. It does not radiate up or down and I had zero pain on the side of my thigh before my hip replacement. My nerve pain is from my anterior hip surgery where they often cut your femoral nerve because it’s very hard to see, even when they are very careful. I traded one pain for another :/
Could your pain be from a nerve in your lumbar spine?
