To elaborate on @clare12351's helpful tip regarding booking travel, Mayo Clinic Patient Travel Services to help with airline bookings and related travel arrangement. Patient Travel Service can make flight reservations ($25 fee per reservation, up to $50 for a family), manage changes to your travel itinerary, make hotel reservations, and arrange ground transportation, including airport shuttles, limo service or car rental reservations. When booking a hotel, be sure to let them know you're a Mayo patient to find out if they have special rates.
