This sounds like nerves flaring. Covid is known to affect the nervous system. Do you have diabetes or any vascular issues in your legs/calves/feet?

You may want to see a neurologist for testing. You may have small fiber neuropathy and there is a skin punch biopsy that can confirm. There is no cure for this but there are medications and supplements/topical nerve creams that can help with symptoms.

I have small fiber neuropathy and it causes issues in legs/glfeet at night. I take alpha Lipoic acid, Acetyl l carnitine and magnesium supplements which helps calm my small nerve fibers. Salonpas makes lidocaine nerve pain patches that can help relieve pain temporarily. Compression socks can help, too.

Since covid, I have developed neuropathy now known as a LC symptom. Burning feet all the way up almost to the knee.

Yes,I have feet peripheral Neuropathy since COVID outbreak.use compression soaks too.Also for 2 years IBS, numerous food intolerances, histamine is the culprit,lost 60 lbs since Nov 2023,now 110lbs,also brain fog,all CT,MRI scans normal,so far none of the doctors
acknowledgment it to COVID. I am Canadian if that makes a difference!
