I am a Vet and the VA offered plenty of nutritional and diabetic care. Not sure why yours is reluctant. See a Social Worker or the way to complain in the system or go to your gov't rep. Good luck. BTW: If I got good advice, it has nothing to do with who was POTUS, imo.

@debnova Welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect! First off, thank you for your service. It sounds like the nutritional and diabetic care you were offered and received may have advanced since that post from @crazyelf. Thank goodness, right?

Where are you on your kidney disease journey, may I ask? And, how are you handling having diabetes and kidney disease together?
