Has anyone had Bordetella Bronchiseptica

Treatment for B. Bronchosepticia may be confussed with B pertussis which causes whooping cough.. Azitromycin is effective for pertussis but not for B. Bronchosepticia. B. Pertusssis will not grow on routine culture media.
I had pertussis once and it was awlful. TDap vaccine can prevent pertussis.

@nicholslg Thanks So much for your reply, that is exactly what I was thinking too, thanks for your confirmation, nice to know that I am on the right track. Think I will change Specialists, we only have 2 here so hope the next can put more time in to such an unusual bug.
