@im62at2024, that's a lot, but it looks like you managed well despite everything. How did follow-up go?

Sorry for the late reply. It went well. I did not know that my wife and the surgeon were keeping a piece information from me that happened during the surgery. The surgeon noticed a cyst on my colon and he told my wife that once he saw he couldn't unsee it so he made the decision to remove it then and there. It tested benign like the two lymph nodes did but it was the type cyst that can turn into cancer. My wife told him if he told me about it while I was in the hospital that I would fixate on that one thing and it was drive me nuts until the pathology report came back and she is probably right. He did tell me at the first PO visit that he did check all the way my colon and there were no more. I'm even more thankful I had the removal now than another type of treatment, they may not have found the cyst until it was cancerous.

I was expecting a lot of discomfort with the removal of the catheter but wasn't bad at all. One thing that I thought was inexcusable was they had no pads or adult diapers to get me home. I just crammed a bunch of toilet tissue into my underwear. I go for my first PSA test on the 20th of this month. My incontinence is nearly under control now.
