Please get a second opinion and try to get the surgery as soon as possible even if you have to drive some distance to see the surgeon.

@jc100 I believe this is the second opinion for @fos54235. I'm frustrated that the oncology office has not returned your calls. One other idea. Could you call your referring doctor's office and ask them to call for you? Frankly, I don't think a patient should have to do this but it's one idea I came up with and it's what I would do in your place.
