Maybe we're not talking about the same thing, but before the first of my 2 spinal fusion surgeries in my neck, I was experiencing random shocks of intense pain all over at any given time. It could be the top of my foot, or my knee, my hands, anywhere.
At first my wife thought that I was over reacting to it when it happened, and I put up with for over a year before my first neurosurgeon saw me. He did an MRI of my spine, and saw a ruptured disc in my neck at the C5-C6 level.
After having these vertebra fused, the random pains dissipated by about 90%. There aren't any wonder drugs that I'm aware of that will do what you're asking. Have you seen a doctor or had any x rays or an MRI done?

Wow. I have never known of anyone else who has had these symptoms. I have been experiencing them increasingly the past couple of years. I am getting a cervical MRI on Tuesday but haven’t had much hope that my neck area could be the cause of pain all over the place. But your post leaves me hopeful. Thank you for sharing!
