The type of dementia can allow you to see what steps you need to take and see what lies ahead. It's a journey that my husband and I have been on for over 5 years. He has Lewy Body Dementia. In the meantime, get your documents and wills in place. Having a Durable Power of Attorney completed while your spouse can still understand things is vital. Take everything one day at a time.
