First off, sorry that your husband also has the same diagnosis. The only symptom my husband had was one bite of food getting stuck occasionally over the course of 6 months. We switched to a Keto diet prior to the start of chemo. He has had no sugar and processed foods. He just had Round 4 on Tuesday. For rounds 1 and 2 he did 24 hour fast prior to the chemo start time and a 24 hour fast after the chemo completion time. His CEA prior to the start of treatment was a 10, after 2 rounds he was down to a 4.7. Round 3 and 4 he did not fast because he had to take Decadron as per the Oncologist to be able to get Taxotere. We hired an Integrative Nurse that compliments the Oncologist. However, our Oncologist actually did recommend trying a Keto diet and fasting.
