Has anyone had green mucus for over a year?

My docs at NJH increased my vitamin D intake from 1000iu to 5000iu per day, even though my levels were "normal"! I have also experienced lightheadedness from low iron. Apparently MAC feeds on iron, so I make sure to check levels regularly.

Hi Jill.
Yes, my sister, Jill, there in Belmar a good few years back who has worked in Health Food stores for over 25 years and; now at Whole Foods, Spring Lake; in the vitamin depts. was told she had low D and started taking 5,000 a day. Went back a good few months later and it was still low so she increased it with caution. "Normal" is sometimes declared by doctors when it is just below mid range or in the mid range when in reality it is best for some, and most, to be nearer the higher range which I myself prefer. Regarding the iron. I avoided multiple supplements with iron in years previous due to post menopause, however recently I have made sure there is some in the multiple vitamin I am taking.

Do you remember what your normal levels were when they told you to increase your D intake? Low normal?
