I am so sorry to hear that you have cancer. I have an illness that has changed my life. I started waking up hopeless and had anxiety (still do sometimes) and depression. What I have tried to do is remain in present moment. All any of us has is today. I really try to keep my thoughts from going to the future as it is not here. I wake up and ask my conception of a Higher Power to help me today. None of us is promised tomorrow. I listen to meditations on YouTube when I when I am going to bed and it does help me sleep better. I am a complete believer that our subconscious can hear things. I also suggest looking up Eckhart Tolle on YouTube. Listen to some of his answers to questions from his audience. I find that the way he views life is comforting and it makes a lot of sense to me. I also started taking Cymbalta. I started at the lowest dose. If you have an option to see a psychiatrist, I would do that and they might be able to prescribe some medications to help. I always tell myself, that an asteroid could blow up the planet tonight and none of us would be here (at least in our bodies) anymore. This could happen at any time. This helps me remain in the present moment. Hang in there TODAY!

Thank you!
Does Cymbalta work for you? I have heard of it, but never taken it.
Sorry for your illness as well!
