There’s no such thing as mental health.
What we perceive as mental health is simply the behavior constructed by our physiology. Human beings are product of their physiology or their biology if you will and their environment.
All behavior is conjured and executed in the brain. The brain is part of our biology. If it isn’t healthy, has experienced trauma is medicated or some other way retarded for making healthy decisions the body will experience the trauma. It can be no other way.
What we do have and it seems to be that we are the only species that has it, is the ability to choose, but we cannot choose what we do not know that’s where the environment comes in.
I have been profoundly ill for 15 years as a result of a misdiagnosis by a psychiatrist. I have recovered completely body mind and spirit.
It’s taken 18 months of suffering, research, introspection, prayer, meditation, exercise, dietary changes, and now the change of my physical environment. We cannot thrive if our biology, the physical being that navigates this universe, is not healthy and strong.
If you are suffering from chronic pain, sadness, trauma, deprivation, judgment, rejection, exclusion it’s very difficult to get better. I’m not sure exactly how I got better other than I pointed myself in the direction of trying to get better and more than anything else I rejected the voodoo being pushed on us by the psychiatric profession. Now marketing their products as ways to relieve pain.
Convincing the brain is not in pain is no more beneficial than convincing it that the body is not hungry with GLP one receptors. The body heals itself far better than some chemical design to create dependency.
That is not to say that they’re aren’t medications that can make tolerating pain, dealing with trauma and processing more tolerable and effective. They are best used in conjunction with helping the body heal itself.
Some conditions that I have, and that others have from genetics or from the assault of society and the poisons that we have constantly subjected, to that will never go away. I can however, treat them as effective as possible if I call correctly identify what’s wrong.
“Mental” refers to behavior judged good or bad. It is not a cause to be treated but the presentation of underlying issues. The rest is marketing. Get better need truth and intention.
For me that begins with what I refer to as the four pillars of alignment, healthy body, healthy mind, healthy spirit, and healthy environment. When these for are Aligned I thrive.
I wish in peace and good health all the days of your life
It sounds like you are overwhelmed and that is understandable. I agree taking care of any stress or anxiety can help you make good decisions. I have a family member and a friend who applied for disability insurance and they received it. So you could start the application process. It may take a while but it may be a way to get some answers. The unknown has s difficult and there is is success when you use several advisers. You could also check out services available in your local area. Sounds like a lot, but one step at a time so you aren’t overwhelmed is what has helped me to get through the weeds. Another way to help get through this is by keeping a journal of steps you are taking and results. This can help you see that you are accomplishing something and help keep you organized. Also if you can try to find things that you enjoy and do them, it’s amazing what that can do for your wellbeing. Don’t give up😀
