I had I guess my baseline DEXA scan in 2016. My doctor ordered another one which I had today and was told I have Osteoporosis and had significant bone density loss since my first one. My mother had a pretty severe case with 3 compressed disc’s in her back. She was basically bedridden until her sudden death from a pulmonary aneurysm. I don’t want any of that! I have had no fractures yet, thank goodness! I was called today and scheduled to see someone as soon as possible, not sure what will happen, expecting medication and instructions to get exercising.
