Not a highly talked about condition.
I had this later on in life and was worried so talked to my PCP about it. He said it usually is caused by scar tissue and not something to be concerned about unless it affects your ability to enjoy sex or brings you pain.
I had some type of check done (can't remember as so long ago) where they went up my uretha and looked at something. I can remember when I first went to pee tremendous burning pain inside my penis. I was told probably the result of the catheter and scope.
I was told would heal but would have scar tissue there. Nothing until later on in life and some curving. You asked what does it cause. If minor, nothing other than worry. If drastic can affect enjoyment. Just have your urologist or if your PCP is experienced check it or discuss it with them.
Mine never got worse and for me has come the norm for decades now.
About a year after surgery I developed a 15-30 degree curve. My doctor said it was not enough to worry about, but it very much worried me and brought me great stress about the current curvature and thinking about how worse it might get. I used a vacuum pump 3X a week for 20-30 minutes and it fixed itself. My Dr. did not think it would help, but he was wrong.
I think its a unique look, and if no pain is involved then enjoy the feel and look, I've seen several like it at gym showers and on nude beaches and pools, brings many questions to mind, its not a condition that's a definite side affect, but a random occurrence, I hope for those that have it can work thru the look and feel, and don't let it add to the list of the so many other cancer items we all suffer from. lets all stay strong both mentally and physically accepting our body image changes
did the condition change size ? length or width , or cause daily pain

Slight change in length as had a curve where was before straight. Size, width same.
I did not have any pain with the curvature. It was more of a psychological issue with me as "Oh boy what is this." It was kind of embarrassing, but I talked to two different primary care doctors. They both explained this is common and gave me the most likely causes. They stressed if not causing me pain, discomfort, functional issues, not to worry about it.
I then remembered and advised them of me having a procedure years before where urologist went up my urethra with a catheter type instrument to check something. The first time I urinated after that procedure pain brought me to my knees. The pain was inside penis about middle way up.
I was told the catheter caused what they called a stricture scar and that led to the curvature later on. It is the scar tissue and changes to penis organ that develops later on that caused this.
When I was undergoing prostate radiation treatment during simulation my R/O wanted to put some type of solution up my urethra so he could see the area behind prostate when undergoing CT.
He did this by another catheter procedure. After that procedure and first time I urinated I got pain inside penis again but right toward the end. I was told by R/O that the catheter caused it and would probably develop a stricture and let them know if affected urination.
It did not but I did have discomfort (burning). Then the burning went away but can still feel the area of the stricture when I urinate.
