@nancyeverest I saw your post, after getting the results of my own lung CT earlier today, and wanted to check in to see how you’re doing.

I can well understand concern when you see or are told about findings of lung nodules. Often times, we search for answers that might match the constellation of symptoms or findings on our medical records. Sometimes this results in a match, but more often than not, the diagnosis may not be accurate. Very frequently what we uncover or hear from others might be frightening; or we may follow suggestions that might not be best suited to our own particular situation. There are so many different types of conditions and a vast degree of variables. It can be overwhelming and confusing!

In the case of lung nodules, while those less than a certain size - such as yours and the ones revealed on my scan today and those that remain stable - are generally benign in nature, there are other characteristics that can be identified and evaluated by a physician, usually a pulmonologist, who may recommend additional follow up.

Have you consulted with your primary physician or had any other medical consults since your most recent scan?

yes,, just recently nodules show up in left lung during full body CT as a rectal cancer follow up at Mayo
I saw my local internest in NC last week and she is going to send my CT to a pulmonologist for review . Follow up will be key and reading everything I can as in link posted below
I have not had respiratory issues at all ,, so this is indeed puzzling.. Thanks and let us know how you are doing !
