Hello, I'm 63 with a 4.3 cm ascending aortic aneurysm. Found out recently and It has shaken me to the core, especially since I'm experiencing back and shoulder pain. I'm in Naples Florida also. Have you found a good doctor?

Hi there. I got in a serious car accident when I was 63 and while in the hospital after a CT scan, they diagnosed me with a 4.4 cm thoracic, aortic aneurysm. I am now 70 and it hasn’t grown at all. I take medication for BP and never lift anything heavy enough to make me strain or hold my breath when lifting. As you probably already know 4.3 cm is pretty small and I think you can count on living a normal life and doing the things that you like to do. All the best and God bless you!
