My doc has offered Eliquis but I have stuck with Coumadin based on cost. On my Plan D Eliquis would cost about 2 grand a year, and Coumadin is basically free. I don’t mind my monthly INR checks since I am retired and have plenty of time.

Well I know Eliquis is expensive. My wife still works and we still have Blue Cross She’ll retire in a couple of years and l will be in the same boat . Good Health

My doctor recommended that I check out the Canadian Pharmacy site. I’m now getting from them the generic equivalent to Eliquis and the cost is significantly lower than the copay I had been paying for Eliquis.
