A request to Mayo, National Jewish Health, TULC and any other institution that's listening. It is very hard to get unbiased and expert advice on the devices we are told to use. Almost everything on the web is sponsored, 99% of the time with links to Amazon. Also, with the demise of storefront medical appliance stores, you can't see what you are buying until you get it and unbox it, and you can never really tell if you are getting the product you think you ordered or something counterfeit, as I suspect I have received sometimes. I appreciate the strains you are under with insurance and an ever more challenging government regulatory and reimbursement environment, but it would be helpful if you could find a way to give us advice on the brands of products we use. I spend on average two hours/day setting up the device, breaking out the meds, nebulizing and adjusting the nebulizer when it doesn't work, cleaning the device, and then cleaning up after myself. Anything that can help us who listen to our providers lessen this onerous time burden is appreciated.
