Anastrazole did NOT agree with me at all. Exemestane worked better, but still aches with joints and muscles. I see an acupuncturist and do pranayama and yoga to help- and they do. I’m having blood work and bone scan in the. NExt couple weeks to see how Exemestane has affected both. My cancer was similar- 7mm IDC and 4cm DCIS - lumpectomy, 15 days radiation. Lymph. Nodes clear …

Thank you for your response. At this point I’m willing to try anything. I had not thought of acupuncture but I will check on that. I’ve really tried the medications but I have no quality of life with them unless we can find something to help,

I am on Anastrazole. Started this past November. I also have joint pain. Tried acupuncture for 4 months. I didn’t see much relief.

My oncologist just started me on diphenhydramine HCl that I take at night.

I also use a tens machine (muscle stimulator) and just started back up walking 5-6 miles a day. Not sure which is helping or if it is a combination. But my hips feel better than they have in a couple months!!
