Do you need to sanitize your toothbrush every day?

I put my toothbrush in my Bololo sterilizer after each use, along with my nebbing cups and acapella: it makes sense to me and has kept me safe from exacerbations for the last 18 months. It's an easy and simple process and I do believe it does make a significant difference. When I travel, I take with me a box or two of bamboo toothbrushes (cheap on Amazon), soak them in alcohol after each use and throw them away after a couple of use. It gives me peace of mind.

After every use I disconnect the hard of the electric toothbrush, rinse in and out with filtered water I keep in bathroom and then rinse or soak in alcohol. I rinse the brush with filtered water again before use. I like to throw out brushes every week or 2, buy generic ones.
