MSM , is DMSO, without the smell. Easiest thing to do, is go on line and ask, is MSM the same as DMSO?.....It should give you an explanation.
For the ultrasound..........mine only cost $50...........The company still has them from 50 - 150............I don't like to mention company names in my e mails, as i don't want anyone to think I am a .....sales person, pushing a product.....
The next time you get your shock wave treatment, could you ask............how similar is the shockwave treatments to an ultrasound treatment............i think i read where they pretty much do the same thing. it's like a wand, that you slowy move around the area. you need to apply a gel on the area first. you can use it from 5 to 15 minutes. I only use aprx 5 mins on my foot, then sometimes, i move it to my leg for 5 minutes........Don't let the person know you are "thinking" about buying an ultrasound..........you want them to think you will still be their patient, because you really feel better with the shockwave treatment...........but, watching how you choose to ask them the difference, is the way you might get a more accurate answer about the ultrasound...............or , just go on line and ask, what is the difference between a shockwave treatment and ultrasound treatment..........that should work. PS, with the DMSO cream, or any other creams...........i think the best they might do is ....mask the pain, which we all want.............but what we really want, is to correct the problem, not mask it. I think your shockwave treatments are more along correcting the problem rather than just masking the pain.
