Hello doberdoo,
I am where you were in February--terrified with the Big 3 side effects. Have to decide soon. How has your journey been dealing with the side effects? I hope they were "much ado about nothing", but I doubt that! If you would care to share, I would appreciate it. I am 80 years old and in marginally good health, but have health issues that these meds will definitely effect in a negative way. Thank you.

No major side effects for me, just a bit of nausea with the rifampin. I usually try to sleep through it, or chomp on ginger chews. Good luck.
I've been reading FDA warnings on my m. Abscessus drugs and decided to refuse Amikacin because it can destroy hearing and balance. 78 years old so right there with you. Quality of life is more important than quantity to me. It is a very individual decision and heartbreaking because the tradeoffs are devastating. Blessings on your journey.

I didn’t have any issues first two times. This time a few issues. But now take at night. About an hour before bed with a piece of toast Now not too bad.
