Are you getting tested every three months? You could get an MRI to see if there’s a noticeable metastasis inside your prostate PIRADS 4 or 5.

You could get a PSE test to see if there is any noticeable prostate cancer in your bloodstream. Some doctors use the decipher test for the same reason. Either test can decide whether or not you stay on active surveillance.

You could get another biopsy, but the above options could delay that.

ok as paul harvey used to say now the rest of the story so they rec repeat in 6 weeks psa essentially the same altho 7.9 repeat 3 mos later now 9.3 mri eventually showed more prostate lesions and biopsy( now 6 mos later) gleason 7(4/3) with cribriform changes now intervention required had surg( robotic total with sem ves and nodes removed) altho psma neg path showed spread to one sem ves ie now p3tbno ie much higher risk bottom line is in my opinion( happen to be physician) ANY significant change needs to be aggressively evaluated and promptly thoughts?
