The maxim "your mileage will vary" still applies here. I have had RE since the original procedure fifteen years ago. That's what I'd call a minimal issue. The big issue is if you lose sexual function. If you're good there, then count your blessings!

Wait it out and give it some time for your body to heal as it does take awhile.

I can relate to the fellow who mentioned "doomed," and that's exactly how I felt for a period of time afterwards. You feel your man card was stolen. You can feel angry. We expect perfection. Life is never perfect but search for the grace each day to persevere.

Thanks gemstateid. No loss of function thankfully. The "bang" went from an m80 to a firecracker but as you say.... count your blessings. The number of issues it has resolved is wonderful. I often sleep thru the night without having to get up and my daytime trips to the bathroom are multiple hours in between now.
