@fala

I have a family member that has some real cognitive decline. She has to have a full time caretaker. Unfortunately, this hired person is not very friendly and does NOT keep her company in any way. She cooks and cleans and goes for walks with her, but is not interested in making friends with her. I talk to my sister on the phone about twice a week and try to find out about her day and who she has spoken with. It helps if I have a joke on hand! Best of luck!

She left her car on all day until the battery died yesterday. One day while I was there she tried to pick up dry ice from a package, it went everywhere. Fortunately she was ok but I was shocked because I know that's something she would never do.
