For me, the biggest issue was insurance, as Mayo was not a covered provider. Once I got that handled (took 4 months!), I was able to get appointments within 2 weeks at Mayo. This was for the intention of surgery with Dr Truty. So he looked at my imaging before agreeing to see me. My recommendation is to first confirm Mayo is in network. Will need to know if referral is required. Once insurance is sorted, call Mayo directly.

Mayo-Rochester is an amazing facility. After I was diagnosed, I contacted them and they had me set with an appt to see a pancreatic oncologist within 2 weeks.
