sue417, you could probably get approval for both medications, if zoledronate were prescribed for metastatic protection. Here the Reclast drug is given under the retail name Zometa often at lower dosage than Reclast and more frequently for cancer metastasis. On the lower dose would be less likely to experience some of the side effects.

I don't need approval for a zoledronic acid
My cancer was stage 0 dcis.
That medication is covered in canada by the government
