If it were me I would go for it. Your young yet. My sister is 80 & had her aortic valve replaced 2 yrs ago. She's doing great. I had my tricuspid valve replaced 10 yrs. Ago and doing good also. We both had open heart surgery.

I read this post with great interest, having had 3 valve surgeries in the past 50+ years and doing very well. Then I realized the original post was from 2016. I do hope that @divmercy is doing well.
