I'm on no drugs. I do take a statin Crestor on lowest dose possible of 5mg. But nothing else. I can't figure out why just before the procedure on October 9 my Hemoglobin was 13.5 and three months after the procedure it's 12.9. And while it's just below normal I'm not terribly alarmed but none the less something changed and as an engineer by training I'm having angst not knowing the root cause. I started Crestor in February 2024. From what I've read, continuous blood loss can cause low Hemoglobin counts. Had urine tests and found no blood in my urine either. I don't know what else to do but wait to see where this is going.

It’s the radiation. My bloodwork after photon SRT was horrible - all from marrow activity impacted by the radiation.
I realize that proton radiation is not supposed to do this, but let’s get real - there’s no way some energy wasn’t imparted to your pelvic bones. But it’s not a big drop so I think a 6 month test will show it back to normal.
