Hi my name is Scott. So I’ve been through esophagus cancer. So I couldn’t swallow food very well or drink liquids very well. Had endoscopy found out I had cancer. The good thing that happened to me was finding oncology doctor quickly also surgeon. They worked together. They were awesome got together came up with treatment program. Got me started within a month. Flot program so 4 chemotherapy treatments every other week for two months . I was pretty good though out those treatments. Waited 5 weeks then had surgery two surgical teams 9 hour surgery. They were great. Was in hospital 8 days. Waited 4 more weeks then had 4 more chemotherapy treatments. Waiting now to get my pet scan in June. I have been very lucky with my Doctors and nurses. Been amazing. I live in Colorado. If you can look for different hospitals and Doctors that are serious about helping you. To get you in and work on treatment plan for you. It’s so important that you trust your Doctors and nurses.
