Yes, I recently bought one for travel so I could hear the guides on walking tours. It's the first hearing device I've had that was worth the money. You have to be a certain distance away from the person wearing it. When I tried it in the audiology office, I couldn't get it to work until I went into the adjacent hallway. So work with it. I've used it at family events, and it has picked up voices from across the room. It does not work with grandchildren running around playing! Buy it!
