Review: I'm 70 now. COVID March 2020. Since COVID I have had dreams with a repeating theme. I'm trying to get to work, (but I retired in 2017). So why am I focusing on work? It's when I worked in an old building which had an elevator that sometimes didn't work well so I would walk up the 5 flights of stairs. In the dream, I can't get to work and the stairwell is always blocked by debris. It all relates to the feeling of uselessness. I had about a year of mild brain fog which cleared up mostly by March 2021 when I stopped eating gluten. COVID leaves you with the feeling that you are not on your game. You can't think quickly like you did beforehand. Your PCP says you are just getting older but this ability to figure things out and be organized changed quickly, And along with this comes worry and anxiety which makes the thinking worse. and especially effects short term memory. What brought back my scientific think ability and memory? It was better after my March 2021 diet change (No gluten, no dairy, no deli meat, no red meat) but I think it was the one ounce of pumpkin seeds a day which I started eating in Oct 2024 which returned me to pre COVID thinking. Why? I don't know but that's the only change over the past two years. COVID is a whole body inflammatory response and the pumpkin seeds appear to address that?
So sorry to see this, but I share the same concerns.
