Next steps after high OncoDX score.

Wondering what your next steps and timetable were for anyone who had a high OncoDX score. Just received mine today, it is is 59. Assuming this means recommendation for Chemo. I'm dreading, but want to get therapy started. Stymied as I've yet to meet with a Med Onc.
Additionally, it's Stage T1, IDC with attending DCIS, Er+, PR and Her2-, NO lymph nodes but a Grade III, Ki67 30%.
So, small but aggresive.
Anyone similar DX?

Mine was 56. Ki-67 93%. Grade 3 ER+ PR+ HER2-. Starting chemo next week. Stage 2b. Have no clue about the meaning for Oncotype.

Your statistics are quite similar to mine. The Oncotype number, as I understand it, is a compilation of your genetic makeup to help your doc determine if you would benefit from chemo. I will likely be in the same boat rowing alongside you. Wishing us both strength and peace. I'll be thinking of you next week!

I am 70 years old. DCIS 22 yr ago with mastectomy. Negative nodes. 1 month ago IDC in mastectomy breast Onco score not back yet. Nodes not determined yet. Chat GPT is currently free. You can login with Apple or Google so easy. They let you ask about 10 questions before it times out for some hours. Have found it very helpful. It can generate questions for MD visit. I have complicated case and it notes the difference. Have asked percentage questions. I have a saline implant and will probably get radiation only. Has given me great info I wanted in that scenario. While strongly ER + I won’t be taking blockers. The waiting I find difficult. Sending hug

Another septuagenarian!
Well, you've been through the wringer! After 22 years of apparent disease freedom, well, I can't even begin to imagine your feelings. Yes, the waiting is frustrating when you want to just get on with it. Thanks for suggesting ChatGPT. I do need to learn more about the next phase in order to ask informed questions. I too am nearly 100% ER+. The thought of 10 years on a blocker is daunting.

This has been going on since December and finally getting treatment. Can’t believe the snails pace. I’ll go out ahead and test the waters. I’ll let you know if the fish are biting. Praying for you.

Tough to have a sense of humor at a time like this. You're doing great! Keep rowing!
