several years ago, my right leg just got weak, and i nearly fell. Mine wasn't real bad as it would feel weak, for a while, then be back to normal most of the day.. Over 2 yrs, i saw a couple of different MD's, a Neurologist, Homeopathic Dr., naturopathic Dr. No one knew what to do. also tried a few sessions with accupuncture. No help. Saw a chiropractor, no help, finally saw another chiropractor, while he was doing his therapy, i said, i have a tens unit at home, could that help. He said, yes it could. He pressed two areas on my back and said that is where to put the electrodes. I had him put a band aid on the spots, to make sure i got them on the right area. I went home, attached the electrodes, then thought, oh darn, i didn't think to ask how long to leave them on,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.so i kept the unit on for 45 minutes. took the electrodes off, and hadn't had weak legs again, for 20 years. It wasn't the legs that was making them go weak, it was connected to my back, Lc, or those alphas a chiropractor uses. 20 yrs later, my leg is getting weak again, but, the chiropractor is retired, and the other 2 i saw, doesn't have a clue of what to do..........i am tho, taking 20 grams of collagen a day, and doing ONE exercise that is helping. I also purchased a couple of red light therapy wrap around pads. when i wrap it around my thigh for 30 minutes, then stand up, my leg feels stronger for a while.............sure wish the chiropractor was still working, as he was the only dr., out of many, who actually knew what to do.

You were on track with your use of TENS nerve stimulation
Thanks for that suggestion

I’ve been on Gabapentin for 6 yrs
I couldn’t figure out why my legs would collapse without any warning
It didn’t happen that often
I’ve recently lost all ability to go Down Stairs without doing so 1 step at a time while holding on tight to railing
I’ve cut my dosage in half for going on a week and I feel like my legs are getting back stability somewhat but need to taper off the Gabapentin slowly
Im going to begin a Turmeric program on my own given the high degree of positive comments I’ve read by others
Anything other than Gabapentin
